This 3 days Queen Elizabeth national park will begin and end in Kampala Uganda’s capital. It will take you to one of the must visit national parks in Uganda with the highest number of animal species and birds some of which can only be seen here.
The kazinga channel which connects two lakes George and Edward is a must visit place as it gives you another chance to view plenty of birds and animals that reside along the shoreline such as hippos and crocodiles and if lucky enough you can spot a rare shoebill.
The park was named after a visit of Queen of England Queen Elizabeth and it’s located in the southwestern part of Uganda about 5-6hours drive from Kampala. The park is located in the
Day 1: Travel to Queen Elizabeth
You will be picked from either Entebbe or hotel in Kampala by our safari guide/ driver gets you briefed about the safari and later drive you to south western part of Uganda to Queen Elizabeth national park a home to a wide biodiversity of animal species.
You pass via the beautiful sceneries and landscape. You will have two stopovers before reaching the park one at the Equator to buy crafts and take photos and another in Mbarara for lunch.
From here you will continue to the park check into your booked lodge for relaxation dinner and an overnight. If you arrive in time you can go for an evening game drive in the park.

Day 2: Game drive & a boat cruise- Kazinga Channel
After breakfast at the lodge go for an early morning game drive through the park for an opportunity to see the early risen species such as the hyenas, wildebeest and many other different wildlife species like waterbucks, lions, elephants, , giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes, leopards, warthogs, plus a variety of bird species. You will also view different crater lakes in the park. After this 3 hours game drive, head back to the lodge for lunch and relaxation as you prepare for the afternoon 2 hour boat cruise along the Kazinga channel. The kazinga channel connects two lakes George and Edward and it’s a beautiful place to see more species of wildlife along the shores, it’s a home to over 560 hippos; also birds and other animals like crocodiles, elephants, antelopes among others will be seen. Return to the lodge and have dinner and overnight.

Day 3: departure
Wake up for a hearty breakfast at the lodge and then after, you will be driven back to Kampala, have lunch en-route at the Equator, from here you will continue to Kampala/Entebbe to meet your departure flight back if scheduled on this day.
