The 4 days 3 night Rwanda gorilla tour will take you to volcanoes national park and trek the endangered mountain gorillas. The tour will begin and end in Kigali Rwanda’s capital and its largest city. Rwanda is known as one of the three countries in the world that inhabit the endangered mountain gorillas, out of about 1000 gorillas that remain the world, Rwanda’s volcanoes national park hoist over 400 of these remaining apes.
This safari gives you an opportunity to track the mountain gorillas as well as the golden monkeys within the same park. The tour will also give you a chance to enjoy a Kigali city tour for an opportunity to visit interesting places including the genocide memorial sites which took place in Rwanda, National Museum with lots historical items of the country and was given to Rwanda by the Belgium government.

Day 1: arrival – Volcanoes National Park
Upon your arrival at Kigali international airport, you will be met by Mum and Dad Uganda Tour guide after a short briefing about the tour he will take you for a city tour to various sites in the city. You will visit the Gisozi genocide memorial site, local art and craft market among others. After lunch you will be transferred to Ruhengeri in the volcanoes national park. Dinner and overnight at

Day 2: Rwanda Gorilla Trekking experience
early morning breakfast and then after report to the park headquarters to receive short briefings about gorilla trekking and also gets you allocated to the gorilla family. At 8:00am you will start to hike into lead by the ranger guide hike deep into the forest to have a chance to meet the endangered gorillas in their natural habitat. Gorilla trekking is unpredictable as meeting them depends on where they last spent their night from. After reaching the gorillas, u will spend an hour with and then descend back to the lodge for lunch .In the afternoon, go for cultural performance and meet the batwa people or take a nature walk. Later after trekking head back to the lodge for a late lunch. Throughout the evening, you can take a walk in the community or choose to stay and unwind at the lodge

Day 3: Golden Monkey Tracking & Canoe Trip
Early morning breakfast and transfer to the pack headquarters to receive short briefings bout golden monkey trekking which another exciting activity is done in volcanoes national park. Golden Monkeys are endemic to the volcanic mountains of the Virunga Range and typically live in the bamboo vegetation zones near the base of the volcanoes. An experienced guide will help you to search these apes in their natural setting, like gorillas and chimps, trekking the golden monkeys also last from between 1-7 hours and once they are met one hour is strictly allowed with them. Retire back to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon you will head out on a canoeing trip on the Twin Lakes – Bulera and Ruhondo, which are located at the base of the volcano Mount Muhabura. In modern canoes you will skate across the dark blue waters of these stunning lakes, which are surrounded by rolling hills and scenic views of the Virunga volcanoes. Dinner and an overnight stay

Day 4: Kigali city tour- Departure
After a hearty breakfast, at the lodge, check out of the park and make a transfer to Kigali In the interim you will go for a city tour and visit some of the places you may have missed on the first city tour like a pottery projects, markets, handicraft shops, and the national museum among others. Have lunch in the city and later drive to the airport to meet your departure flight back home.
