We are from these communities and so we feel a natural desire to give back. At Mum and Dad Uganda Tours, it is our joy to give 10% of your bookings with us to charity institutions or organizations. Consider participating in community-based tourism initiatives that directly benefit local communities. These initiatives often involve cultural exchanges, village visits, and community projects.

Community Engagement

If you would love to visit a rural community during your free time in Uganda after or before your safari you can consider visiting the children in our village school. Am not sure if your schedule will allow it because you may have a well-designed itinerary and tight schedule, if you don’t have time probably some other time if all goes well to pay a visit.

About The School

The school is called Angel’s Park Education Center, the school was Started 5years back by community /Village volunteers in Kisabwa village, who were concerned about a big number of orphaned children and families trapped in poverty who could not afford existing schools. It’s located in Lwengo District 12 kilometers from Mbarara highway branching off from Kyabakuza trading center.

This charity school provides free quality education for children along with improved nutrition as well as progress to improve the livelihood of the people in the community. You are helping us make a difference in Uganda. In case visiting the school/ community of Kisabwa will be possible you are welcome to visit. The children, the teachers and the entire community will be much excited to pay them a visit.
