Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
Day 2: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

Day 1: Arusha – Drive to Lake Manyara National Park
Early in the morning, your safari driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and begin the scenic drive to Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its lush landscapes and the famous tree-climbing lions.
Upon arrival at the park, you will first enjoy a picnic lunch before heading out for an afternoon game drive. As you explore the park, you can expect to encounter a variety of wildlife, including buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos, and more. The park also offers stunning views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment and the soda lake, which attracts flocks of flamingos and other bird species.
After the game drive, you will proceed to your public campsite within the park where you will have dinner and an overnight stay under the stars.

Day 2: Lake Manyara – Drive to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast at your campsite, you will depart Lake Manyara and head toward the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most iconic wildlife destinations in Africa. The drive offers scenic views along the way as you ascend to the rim of this massive volcanic caldera.
You will arrive around lunchtime, enjoy your meal, and then descend into the crater for an unforgettable afternoon game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is home to an incredibly dense concentration of wildlife, making it one of the best places to spot the Big Five.
During the game drive, you may encounter a variety of animals such as wildebeests, zebras, elephants, hippos, hyenas, and possibly even the endangered black rhinoceros. The crater floor also hosts numerous bird species and dramatic landscapes that make for a truly memorable experience.
After the game drive, return to your campsite near the crater for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro – Drive to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will check out of your campsite and begin your journey to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its vast plains and the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration.
Along the way, you will make a stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important paleoanthropological sites in the world. Here, you’ll enjoy lunch and have the opportunity to tour the museum and learn about the early human fossils discovered in the area, including those by Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey.
After your visit, you will continue the drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and into the Serengeti, where wildlife sightings begin even before reaching your campsite.
In the evening, arrive at your designated public campsite in the Serengeti, where you will have dinner and spend the night under the African sky.

Day 4: Serengeti (Lobo Area) – Transfer to Ndutu Woodlands
After an early breakfast at the campsite in the Lobo area of Serengeti, you will set out on a scenic drive southward to the Ndutu woodlands, located in the southern Serengeti ecosystem and the northern part of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
This area is particularly rich in wildlife and is known for excellent sightings of predators such as leopards, cheetahs, lions, and hyenas. Depending on the time of year, you may also witness large herds of wildebeest and zebras during their migration through this region.
You’ll enjoy a game drive en route in the pop-up roof vehicle and in the Ndutu area, taking in the breathtaking savannah scenery and spotting a wide range of animals and bird species.
In the evening, settle into your camp for dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the quiet wilderness of the Ndutu plains.

Day 5: Ndutu – Drive Back to Arusha
After an early breakfast, you will embark on a short morning game drive as you exit the park, offering one last chance to spot wildlife and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the Tanzanian wilderness.
On your journey back to Arusha, you’ll make a stop at Mto wa Mbu village, a lively cultural hub known for its local markets and Makonde wood carvings. This is a great opportunity to shop for handmade souvenirs and support local artisans.
You’ll then continue the drive to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. Upon arrival, your driver-guide will drop you off at your hotel or at the airport, depending on your onward travel plans.
