    Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park evening  Boat trip on lake Iheme

    After breakfast, your guide will transfer you to Akagera national park which is located in the north-eastern part of Rwanda covering an area of about 2500km2 of savannah plains. The park has a wide variety of wildlife including the big five Boat trip on lake Ihememammals and it’s a home to over 500 different species of birds some of which can’t be seen elsewhere in the world. Arrive in time at the lodge check in for lunch and later you will go for a boat trip on Lake Ihema, where you will have a closer look at marine animals like Crocodiles and Hippos, coupled with large concentration of bird life that live and feed on the lake over 525 species identified unique species such as Shoe billed stocks and papyrus gonolek are part of the list.     Upon arrival in Kigali, and depending on your flight schedule, you may have time to visit local craft markets or shops to purchase souvenirs, handmade crafts, locally roasted coffee, or other memorable gifts to take home.

    Later, your guide will transfer you to Kigali International Airport in time for your onward flight, marking the end of your memorable Akagera National Park safari.
