All our group Uganda  tours are suited to all interests, and they range from 3-day gorilla tours or chimpanzee tour to a relaxed 2-week Uganda safari itineraries all are affordable, as well as more specialized tours that focus on photography or birding safari over 1097-plus bird species live in Uganda and many are endemic . We organize group tours ranging from 2 up to 7 people or larger than that. Even large groups are often split up into smaller groups occupying a maximum of 6 to 8 people per vehicle, and we go in a convoy. Every vehicle will have a professional driver-guide and in each and every part of east Africa, they will handle you with a lot of care.

If you are interested in any of our given dates, contact us for availability. Once the trip has less people, (Less than 2 people), we tentatively book clients until we get others joining you, our groups mainly start from 2 people. its important to note that tours in peace season tend to get full so quickly unlike in low season. so you are advised to book your slot as early as possible during the peak season to avoid last minute booking which is sometimes disappointing. This is during June, July, August and September of every year. Also December, January and February tend to be very busy so make sure you inquire in time to book your space.

How the Group Tours work

We have two available group options which are as follows,

Join a scheduled group tour: This is an arranged package , several scheduled group tours are available with well designed itineraries by our expert team (Guide). These scheduled tours are available to depart on weekends and also on a monthly basis. Each weekend, we arrange short trips which run from 1-4 days and they depart on Friday or Saturday,where as the longer trips last from 6 and above days and they depart from at any times per month.To confirm your slot, its advisable to book in advance with a deposit of at least $100, however if the trip includes gorilla or chimpanzee trekking or volcano trekking, you will be required to also pay the trekking permits especially for chimps and gorilla because permits are booked on first come first service basis at the earlier the better to avoid last minutes booking which is sometimes disappointing securing them earlier saves disappointments

Customize your trip, and have people join you: Alternatively, you can customize your safari and then after contact us to customize your ideal trip and thereafter we shall give other travelers who are looking for a trip within the same time period the option of joining you. To confirm the customized group tour a 40% deposit is required.

Group trips depart every weekend for small packages and every months for long  safari packages across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania.

Gorilla permits cost $700 per permit

Chimpanzee permits costs $200 each

Gorilla trekking depends on the availability of permit at the time of your booking , you are advisable to secure your gorilla permit in advance to avoid last minute booking which is sometimes disappointing. Gorilla permits are on very high demand and they are booked on first come first serve , so book them as early as possible.

Gorillas are mainly found in Bwindi impenetrable national park and Mgahinga gorilla forest national park in Uganda, and in Rwanda mountain gorillas are found in Volcanoes national park whereas in Congo, they live in Virunga forest national park

Chimpanzees are mainly trekked in Kibale forest national park in Uganda, and in Rwanda they are trekked Nyungwe Forest national.
