Hearing your phone Alarm or the call from the Lodge staff sometimes sounds brutal but excitement for exploring the unknown is like for a child on the first day of school. This excitement will be a motivation to leave the comfort of your warm cozy bed.

This is the time you meet your safari guide and Ranger for an early morning breakfast, with tea/coffee and biscuits. This is a blissful start to what will turn out to be an epic day as you head out on the game safari on an open 4X4 Safari Vehicle. Early morning is typically the perfect time of the day to spot animals as temperatures are cooler and animals, especially Big Cats are still active. You could also meet herds of buffaloes and elephants at a drinking hole, or see the shy impalas up close. This isn’t guaranteed but up to chance.
For the next three to four hours, photos, videos, and words won’t fully capture the moments because it is an adventure of a lifetime, not like going to the zoo.

After three to four hours of productive and rewarding game viewing, you will return to the Safari Lodge/or Camp for a hearty and well-earned breakfast.
1200- 1300 hours (Lunch and afternoon)
This is the type you will have your delicious lunch at the Safari Lodge/Camp, and also spend the main part of the day either unwinding to soak up the splendor of your surrounding or using its high-end amenities like the outdoor swimming pool. You might have something light to eat or drink at 1500 hours, before heading out for our afternoon adventure.
If you are exploring Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth, or Lake Mburo National Park, your afternoon adventure continues at 1400 hours with a boat cruise. This activity lasts one to two hours, with sights and sounds of Hippos, Nile Crocodiles, Cape buffaloes, and lots of birds.
1600 hours: Afternoon/evening safari drive
As the African sun begins to ease away, temperatures cool, and shadows begin forming across the savannah, several wildlife species become more active again. You will meet with your safari guide for an afternoon/evening safari drive. Be prepared for another thrilling three-hour experience and you never know what animals you are going to come across with a majestic African sunset as the backdrop.
Wildlife becomes more active again, and the nocturnal species start preparing for their hunt. On one of these afternoon/evening safari drives in a pop-up vehicle , you will come across leopards, lions, or any other big cats that just finished chowing down antelopes in the bush or up in the tree. So breathtaking!
1800 hours- sundowners
Besides the wildlife, another highlight of the late afternoon/early evening safari drive is sundowners, where you will take a break to watch the stunning African sunset and relish some cocktails as well as refreshments. The guide finds a scenic spot for sipping on your drinks- gins and tonics while watching the beautiful sun dip below the Horizon. An unmissable safari tradition!
1930 hours- Dinner
Back at the Safari Lodge/Camp, dinner is an event in itself, but the timing of this meal is determined by the activities on the trip. For instance, if there are some special things (such as lions hunting) happening, the dinner can wait.
At most Safari Lodges/Camps, there are a number of fantastic spots to relish dinner at the Lodge and depending on the 
weather; the Lodge manager will choose the perfect place. Dinner is followed by Camp fire stories that continue into the early hours. However, you can simply retire to your room for some peaceful sleep before the next thrilling adventure on the safari!
