 Uganda is one of the cheapest country to go on safari, one point backing this is that, it caters for all categories of traveler whether travelling on budget, midrange or up market. Uganda offers a broad range of accommodation options one to choose from. Even in the remote part of a country, you can still find where to have an overnight from. There are remote lodges such as Apoka in the north-east in kidepo valley national park, the most remote park in Uganda, providing an experience both luxurious and genuine. Murchison falls national park offers a verity of lodges that will give you a comfortable stay and relaxation in the middle of wilderness. Murchison falls National Park is known as the biggest park in Uganda occupying an area of about 1,483 square miles (3,840 square km) of rolling grassland east of Lake Albert. The park is known for covering for its fantastic game drives and boat cruise activities on the Nile River. Games expected to see on a game drive includes lions, elephants, antelope species, buffaloes,  leopards and many hippos and crocodiles can be seen during the boat cruise as many as various species 0f birds all inhabited by this beautiful park. To mention some of the lodges found in the park includes Paraa safari lodge, Chobe safari Lodge, Nile River, Pakuba Safari lodge, red chill tented camp etc.

For chimpanzee trekking lovers, the park which offers the highest chance to meet our closet relative is the Kibale forest national park located in the south western part of Uganda. Over 13 species of primates inhabit the park others primates include Chimpanzee are fabulous fun to watch when playing in fruitful trees or tree blanches. The one hour allowed to stay with the chimps is regarded as a memorable encounter. Kibale forest national park has many accommodation options one can choose from for an overnight stay to mention some include chimpanzee forest lodge, Kikolong safari lodge, Chimpundu Lodge, Primate Lodge, Kibale safari lodge, Ndali safari lodge etc.

 

if you need excellent and supper game drive Queen Elizabeth National park gives it all. The park is a home to over 602 wildlife species some of which can’t be seen elsewhere. On a game drive expect to see African elephant, African buffalo, Ugandan kob, topi, waterbuck, warthog, giant forest hog, leopard, spotted hyena, lion, hippos and crocodiles can be seen and hippopotamus and crocodile can be seen during a boat cruise on the kazinga channel which connects two lakes George and Edward, to mention some of the accommodations within and outside the park include  Mweya safari lodge, bush lodge, Ihamba safari Lodge, Irungu forest safari Lodge, ishasha wildness camp, Ishasah Jungle Lodge, elephant Plains lodge, park view Lodge.

Lake Mburo national park is Uganda’s closest park to the capital city Kampala just about 3 hours’ drive, you are already at the park. The park is known for its high concentration impala and zebras and many other wildlife species. Lodges in the park include Eagle’s nest, Wagtail, Kigambira Safari Lodge, Mburo Safari Lodge, Mihinga Safari Lodge, Rwakobo Rock, Mantana Tented Camp, Rwonyo Rest Camp.

Rwenzori Mountains National Park is very different, with snow-capped peaks looming above the clouds and a healthy population of forest elephant and primates as well as some opportunities for fairly challenging treks. Lake Victoria is coming into its own as a destination in itself, of course,

Kampala boasts a choice of hotels, from the generic Sheraton to a more distinctive luxury boutique offering just outside the city. And throughout there are safari lodges and villa-style accommodation to suit every taste. Kampala is the capital city of Uganda and many travelers have an overnight within the city either on the first day or last day of the safari. A city tour is a must to many visitor in the country, places to visit on a city tour include Namirembe cathedral, kabaka’s palace, kasubi tombs, Uganda martyrs etc.
